Jimbo Elrod -
Jimbo graduated East Central High Scholl in 1972. He earned a dual-scholarship to the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the 1974 National Championship Wrestling teams, and the back-to-back ’74 & ’75 National Championship Football teams. Personal honors include 2-time All Big 8, 1974 All-American, and 1975 Consensus All-American. Drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 5th round, and finished his NFL career as a Houston Oiler.
Jimbo earned his degree in Public Relations and Business Administration and has spent his time in the Personal Health Care Business and well as radio hosting and analysis. Jimbo joins “Total Access Sports Talk” after hosting a midday program on The Sports Animal in Tulsa, KFAQ – Tulsa, and most recently co-hosting the OU Football pre and post games shows on KOKC and KRXO. We are proud to have Jimbo aboard as an integral part of the Flagship Station for Oklahoma Sooner Football!

James Hale - James is a graduate of Midwest City H.S. and earned his Masters Degree from The University of Oklahoma. He began his sports broadcasting career in 1975. At various times, James has been the voice of OU Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and Wrestling.James has been a main contributor for Sooners Illustrated and Inside OU Sports Magazines, and has also written for the Norman Transcript. Currently James is considered the leading authority on all OU sports, college sports and college football recruiting and is the lead reporter at OUESPN, the second largest collegiate fan website in the country.
