A funeral service is today at 10am for Kyle Davis at the Eagle Heights Baptist Church on South Portland. Kyle was a defender on the 2004 Southlakes Cosmos White Team. Kyle's mom is asking that all Cosmos players wear their Navy jersey. Donations can be made at Bank of Oklahoma branches. Two players from the Southlakes Soccer Club died in the tornado which ripped through Moore. Those families lost everything. They are collecting clothes, shoes, gift cards at the Southlakes Soccer Complex today from noon until 5pm today.

Blake Shelton has a date and location for his benefit and fellow Oklahoman Carrie Underwood is writing a large check to help benefit those affected by this week's storms in their home state. Organizers say Shelton's "Healing in the Heartland" benefit concert will be held May 29th at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The event will be televised live on NBC.

The American Legion says it's allocating $1 million to veterans affected by the Oklahoma tornado. The Indianapolis-based veterans organization confirms the money will be used to cover relocation expenses for veterans and their families whose homes were devastated by the disaster.

Southwestern Oklahoma lawmakers are applauding the selection of Altus Air Force Base as the first formal training unit for the Air Force's new KC-46 air refueling tanker. Senator Mike Schulz of Altus says that the training unit will be good for the region's economy because of new construction jobs and additional positions for maintenance and technical support. The Air Force plans to buy 179 KC-46 aircraft in the first part of a three-step plan to replace existing refueling aircraft.

Oklahoma Baptist Disaster Relief Teams are positioned to prepare an estimated 10-thousand meals to help tornado victims. Sam Porter, Disaster Relief Director for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma, says the need during the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend will likely double with 20-thousand meals needed. In addition to the physical labor, Oklahoma Baptist chaplains are providing spiritual comfort to victims still recovering with the emotional trauma and devastation

President Barack Obama will travel to tornado-ravaged Moore, Okla., on Sunday.
White House spokesman Jay Carney says the president will view the tornado damage first-hand. He also plans to meet with victims and first responders.
The monstrous tornado barreled through the Oklahoma City suburb Monday afternoon, demolishing an elementary school and reducing homes to piles of rubble. State authorities say two infants were among the 24 people who perished in the twister.
The town of Moore is a community of 41,000 people located about 10 miles from Oklahoma City.

Governor Fallin says a memorial and prayer service will be held this weekend to honor all Oklahoma tornado victims. The service will take place Sunday in the Moore to remember 24 victims there and the two fatalities in Shawnee. The service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Moore.

U.S. Attorney Sanford Coats is warning residents and businesses to keep their guard up when preparing to make donations to aid the tornado relief effort. The scams can come in a number of forms including email, phone calls and mail solicitations. People can report suspected fraudulent operations by calling the National Disaster Fraud Hotline at 866-720-5721. Scam artists will use names similar to legitimate charitable outfits and may use high-pressure tactics to generate contributions.
